What is it?

Firewalking is the act of walking barefoot over a bed of hot embers or stones and in some cultures is used as a rite of passage or as a test of strength and courage.

The team from Firewalk UK will be your hosts for the evening. As a previous Guinness World Record Holder, for 'Greatest Fire Walking Distance', Scott is the perfect person to guide you through the challenge. There will be a safety briefing on the night so no training needed!

Event Details:

Date: Friday 24th July 2026

Venue: The Hunters Inn, Winchester Hill, Romsey SO51 7NW

Arrival Time: 6pm (registration), 6.15pm (briefing)

Registration fee per person (non refundable and payable upfront)

£30 - Adults

£10 - Children (11 - 17 years old)

NB. Please note children can only be registered as part of an adult booking

Age - Ideally the walkers should be over the age of 11 years old. However we will consider slightly younger if they are mature.  All we ask if under 18 that they are mature enough to listen to the training and will require a parent or guardian to sign a form.

Fundraising: You can choose your own fundraising target but we suggest aiming to raise approx £100 pp or you can do a team fundraiser. Fundraising can be done as a individual or team and either by setting up a Just Giving page or we can provide a sponsorship form.

Collection buckets and card machines will be available at the event to accept cash / card donations as well.
