Walk the Test Way 2026

Walk the Test Way is organised by the Romsey Rotary Club and the upfront cost to take part is:

Adults £16 (early bird £13 if registered before 31st July 2026)

Children U18's £9 (or £7 if before 31st July 2026)

You can choose to walk any distance between 25.5 - 5 miles and walkers are taken by private coach from Romsey to their starting location and will end the walk in Romsey's Memorial Park where there will be a warm finish-line welcome and a medal!​  

The walk is well signposted and fully marshalled. Dogs are welcome on a short lead.  The starting points for each distance are:

• 25.5 miles - St Mary Bourne

• 16 miles - Wherwell

• 11 miles - Stockbridge

• 8 miles - Horsebridge

• 5 miles - Mottisfont

We ask for each person to aim to fundraise £50 for Alfie's Wish. Once the fundraising page has been set up we can provide you with a charity top to wear.

How to sign up PLEASE READ

1. Register for Walk the Test Way by confirming your chosen charity is 'Alfie's Wish' https://www.walkthetestway.org.uk 

2. Complete our participant registration form so we can send you a top https://wkf.ms/4qTjgQ8

   
   

3. Set up a JustGiving page by searching the event 'Rotary Club of Romsey Test Trust Fund' for 2026.  You will then need to share your Just Giving Page with the Romsey Rotary Club and Alfie's Wish.

   
   

When setting up your JustGiving page and completing your registration, please ensure Alfie’s Wish is noted as your nominated charity so we can benefit from the funds raised.  Our charity number is 1191020.  If participating as part of a team, please set up 1 JustGiving page for your team and share the link with your team members.  You can then select you are part of a team at the bottom of the registration form.
